Iditarod review

Norway's Thomas Waerner won the 2020 Iditarod. He is 46 years old. He won at 12:37 AM on Wednesday. He finished the race in 9 days, 10 hours, 37 minutes. Waerner was the leader very early in the race. He took off at Unalakleet leaving the competition behind. He had 10 dogs. A veteran sledder said to watch Waerner's team. Waerner became the third Norwegian to win Iditarod. He is a part of the group with Joar Leifseth Ulsom, who claimed victory in 2018, and Robert Sorlie, who was triumphant twice in 2003 and 2005.Thomas was in the Iditarod 1 other time. In 2015, he placed 17th and won the Jerry Austin Rookie of the Year Award. Last year Peter Kaiser won while Joar Leifseth Ulsom took second.
