You might be thinking after reading the MLB Predictions post, Hugo why do the Phillies and the Padres go deeper into the playoffs. I’ll tell you why…
The Padres don’t have defense. They need better starting pitchers! Fans hang around the next three years, and the Padres will have the starting pitchers they need to win. Then Padres will probably build the team around Manny Machado. In the next 3 years, the Padres will be a super team with Manny Machado, Eric Hosmer, Will Meyers, Fernando Tartrís, Hunter Renfroe, Austin Hedges, Manuel Margot, and so much more!
The Phillies will build the team around Harper for the next 2 years. They will probably reach the NLCS and lose this year. In 2020, they will have a great team. I expect them to try and get Craig Kimbrel for relieving help. The Phillies need help with relief pitchers. The Phillies need that help that would take them to the World Series.
You’re probably asking my why I think the Red Sox will repeat? I think they will repeat and beat the Brewers in the World Series. The Red Sox have Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Andrew Benintentendi, and Jackie Bradley Jr. in the outfield. They have Steve Pearce, Xander Bogaerts, Rafael Devers, Brock Holt, and Dustin Pedroia. The Red Sox will repeat. You can expect them to be a good team in 2020, but not as good.
Giants fans, hang in there. Farhan is good and will pick some guys up in 2020. The Giants have a lot of young players that are great. The Giants are rebuilding. Fans, Larry Baer may not be around with the Giants after he assaulted his wife. Go on ESPN to learn more and see the video.
White Sox fans, you’re not going to be this miserable for long. The 2020 free agents are great. The White Sox will try to get one.
Marlins fans, you are rebuilding and maybe Jeter can snag one of the 2020 free agents to help you guys. It seems like every time you have a good player, you trade him or loose him to free agency. Reminders: Giancarlo Stanton and J. T. Realmuto. I’m going to check your team out at a Marlins game. I’m not a Marlins fan, nor bias. I’m a proud Giants and Red Sox fan. I didn’t say the Red Sox would repeat because I’m a fan. The Red Sox have proven to be better than the Phillies, Brewers, Dodgers, Yankees, Astros, and much more. The Red Sox look good, but could be beat. That’s why predictions are called predictions because they are a person’s best guess.
