He and his brother, Ty Dillon, have been racing for a long time and a person that has helped raise them into racing is their grandfather Richard Childress. Childress owns the RCR (Richard Childress Racing) team which Austin drives for in the #3 Chevrolet Camaro. Dillon married Whitney Ward in 2017. Justin Alexander runs the #3 pit crew. His 3 wins came in the 2017 Coca Cola 600, the 2018 Daytona 500, and the 2020 O'Riley Auto Parts 500. In the 2021 Daytona 500, he avoided the massive crash on the last lap to finish 3rd. He is great on ovals and superspeedways. He is a great driver.
Austin Cindric was born on September 2, 1998 in Columbus, Ohio. He won the 2020 Xfinity Series Championship after winning 6 races. He is an awesome driver. He won the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series's opener the NASCAR Racing Experience 300 after holding off Brett Moffitt and Harrison Burton. He drove very well in the 2021 Daytona 500, but could not avoid the massive crash in the final lap suspending him to 15th. Cindric drives the #33 Ford Mustang for Team Penske. He won a bronze medal in the 2014 X Games in Austin for GRC Lites. He has raced in NASCAR for 5 years. He has 9 wins, 64 top tens, and 7 poles in the Xfinity Series. He has 1 win, 16 poles, and 1 pole in the Truck Series. Cindric is a great driver and is going to have an amazing career in NASCAR.
