Toyota is becoming the laughing stock of NASCAR

Disclaimer: I am a fan of Toyota Racing. I hope that Toyota can rebound, and Hamlin can win the Championship. I am a huge fan of JGR. I am a fan of the #18 car and Kyle Busch. NOTE: NO DRIVER HAS HAD PRACTICE ON THE SEASON RESTART!!!

I know what you're thinking. How is Toyota the laughing stock of NASCAR with Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, Martin Truex Jr., and Kyle Busch? Toyota has had major problems with their cars this year. Most notably at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, when all Toyotas (Xfinity and Cup) had problems. A lot spun out, crashed, or left the track. They have had many mechanical problems. They have rebounded in the Quaker State 400.

2020 Quaker State 400 Positions: Truex: 2nd, Bell: 7th, Hamlin: 12th, Kyle Busch: 21st, Erik Jones: 22nd, Suarez: 26th, Hill: 37th Focusing on Drivers:

Daniel Suarez Jr.: Gaunt Brothers Racing: #96 Toyota Camry:He started his career in the Ford Mustang #41 car, and has had a great career up to this year. He switched to the Toyota Racing Camry #96 car, and has been terrible. His highest finish was 18th this season. He is 31st in the car series. His former car was given to Cole Custer. Custer just did the unthinkable. He is the only rookie to have ever won the Quaker State 400.

Timmy Hill: MBM Motorsports: #66 VSI Racing Ford Mustang; #66 VSI Racing Toyota Supra; #61 Toyota Supra; #56 Chevrolet Silverado: He races in all series. He is a pretty decent driver. He is not the greatest NASCAR Cup Series driver. He is good in Xfinity and Gander Outdoor & RV Truck Series, but he needs practice in the Cup Series. He could be a good driver in the Cup Series. His highest finish in the Cup Series this year is 19th in the Food City 500. He is 29th in the Truck Series. He is 41st in the Cup Series.

Erik Jones: Joe Gibbs Racing: #20 Dewalt Toyota Camry: He is a good driver. He won a the Busch Clash, a preseason race. He is 18th in the Cup Series. He finished 3rd in the Pocono 350. He has 4 top 5 finishes.

Kyle Busch: Joe Gibbs Racing: #18 M&Ms Toyota Camry, #54 M&Ms Toyota Supra, #51 Cessna Toyota Tundra: Kyle Busch is a 2 time champ. He won last year. He has not won a race nor a stage He finished 2nd in the Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500. He is 11th in the Cup Series with 7 top 5 finishes.

Denny Hamlin: Joe Gibbs Racing: #11 FedEx Toyota Camry: He has won 4 races this year. He has a chance to win his first championship ever. He has had a great driver and has had a great career. He possibly could have had a 5th win if they had the Sonoma 350. Toyotas perform great at Sonoma. He is 6th in the Cup Series.

Christopher Bell: Leavine Family Racing: #95 Rheem Toyota Camry: He is a good rookie. He is 23rd in the Cup Series. He has 1 top 5 finish. It came at the Pocono 325 in partnership with Rodale Institute where he finished 4th. He will most likely be a star in NASCAR in the future.

Martin Truex Jr.: Joe Gibbs Racing: #19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota Camry: He has won a race this year. He has 4 top 5 finishes. He is 7th in the Cup Series. He won at the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway, ironically. He is a former champion, and is a great driver. Series Leaders

Cup: Kevin Harvick 675 points

Xfinity: Chase Briscoe 643 points

Truck: Austin Hill 293 points
