Team USA got off to a great start. Kuzma was playing great. He scored 14 points in the 1st quarter and 23 points in the 1st half. Team USA has great team chemistry. They all knew where Fox was going to tip it and they responded well to Team World scores. They all knew on alley-oops where their teammates were going to lob it up. Jarret Allen made that long pass perfectly.
Team World needs to use Luka Doncic and Ben Simmons in the 2nd half. Simmons is playing well. He has scored 24 points. Doncic is building his triple-double with 7 assists.
Kyle Kuzma and Trae Young leading USA. They are making plays and are hitting 3s. Kuzma has scored 29 points and Young has 23 points.
Tatum and Mitchell have really helped. Tatum has 27 points and 8 rebounds. Mitchell has 20 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, “The USA has great team chemistry”.
Team USA won 161-144. It is nothing anybody expected. It came down to star power and experience and USA had it. Kyle Kuzma won MVP. Team USA had lost to Team World the last 2 years. Statistics:
