Around 12 pm today (Jan. 26), Kobe and his eldest daughter, Gianna died in a helicopter crash. 9 people were confirmed dead. He was with his daughter at the time of the crash. The crash happened in Kalabasas, California. Kobe Bryant will be forever remembered. My heart goes out to the Bryant family. Kobe will be known for all his achievements in basketball and winning an Oscar. But now, he will be known as a father and a husband. Good luck to his wife and R.I.P. Kobe. He was a mentor and I even read a poem for the poetry sharing called Dear Basketball by Kobe Bryant. This is a sad day in sports. The Spurs and Raptors let the shot clock expire in honor of Kobe. The Rockets were crying before the game.
