My thoughts on Jake Paul v. Ben Askren

Jake Paul is going to fight Ben Askren on April 17, 2021 in LA. I do not like this because this could prompt a superspreader event. Los Angeles has 1/100th of the world's cases which is 1 million cases. Paul has been selfish through COVID by holding boxing matches during lockdown. Askren is 36 years old. He is a MMA fighter and had an impressive 19-2-0 record in the UFC before retiring. He is 5 ft. 10 inches and weighs 169.8 pounds. His reach is 72 inches. Paul is 2-0 in boxing and is 5'11" and 165 pounds. Paul is 24 years old and has a 76 inch reach. His stance is an orthodox stance. Askren's stance is also orthodox, and he has a more wrestling fighting style. Askren says he wants to beat Paul. Paul's team picked Askren. They picked him to be an easy person to beat. Askren wants to beat Paul badly. I think Paul is just trying to advance his career like any other human. Askren is trying to get rid of his 2 fight losing streak.

Both fighters are good. Both are underestimated, but Askren is heavily underestimated. Askren is being underestimated by Paul. Askren is a real fighter and a champion fighter. He is a legit fighter. Paul has faced and beat Gibb and a heavily undertrained Nate Robinson. Jake needs to experience a loss to have respect. He does not have respect. This is going to be a great fight. It is going to be 8 rounds, and each one is going to be good.

I know boxer KSI wants to/will fight Jake Paul after the pandemic. KSI doesn't want to be like Jake and prompt a superspreader event. KSI is 2-0-1, and ready to box Paul. Jake is up for the fight, but right now is occupied for this fight.

Options of what will Happen:

  1. Head to decision

  2. Paul knocks out Askren in the 4th round

  3. Askren knocks out Paul late

  4. Tie

I will speak more on this on my podcast:
